I am planning a series of articles summarizing my experience and future suggestion for initiatives for sustainable development. My first set will be focused on Development Planning for coastal regions. This has an immediate societal value, since Sea Level Rise is not a distant phenomena and every body is talking about looking for avenues for increased societal share in economics. My plans are:

1. State the problem of coastal development vs vulnerability of coastal ecology. A strategy for sustainable development.

2. Constructing quantitative information for assessing changes in vulnerability of coastal ecosystem

3. How we can go about preparing a decision system for the planners

4. What society can do for its own sustenance in the most threatened zones of the world?
